The School marked world health day in association with Kolamaafushi Health Centre at a special assembly on 7th March. A large number of parents , the Island council members, the school board members and members of PTA participated in the assembly. The deputy state minister of the upper south province Mohamed Shareef also participated in the assembly
In the special program, two students spoke on the theme of the day. Humaidha Mohamed, President of the Art faction spoke in English, while Rafah Riyaz president of performing Arts faction spoke in Dhivehi. They both highlighted on the theme of the day "anti microbial resistance, no action today, no cure tomorrow".
Other items included two interesting role plays by students to bring awareness about mosquitoes and also, about non communicable diseases such as diabetes. The chief guest of the occasion, Dr Bikash Shah spoke about the theme of the day. In the Assembly, the deputy state minister spoke few words for the parents and the students.
