English week activities grade 6-9

In the hall, before a small audience and few teachers, the school held English oratory competition for grade 6,7 and debate competition for grade 8 and 9. Surprisingly there were talented students who could very well perform both in oratory and debate competitions.

Most students in the Oratory competition spoke about their ambitions and how important it is to decide what they are going to be in the future.

In the debate, the students judged a views and argument title, "Who contributes most for the national development, the elderly or the youths?" Both teams put forward their views and arguments about the question and posed another new point (a question) for the opponent team to beat. The 'elderly' team was lead by Rayya Nadheem, while the" youngster's" team captain was Rafah Riyaz. Rafah's team won the debate.
